big bottom

We spent Memorial Day weekend camping at our property with friends. It's always a great time down there, but we didn't manage to escape the rain. It started around 3pm on Sunday and poured all.night.long. We finally decided to pack up and head home early to dry out, but it's okay. We still managed plenty of silliness before leaving.

 Maggie loves Big Bottom!

Anders was taken out by a three year old. This really happened.

What's a camping trip without face painting.

This little dog is named Pico, and I NEED him.

 So tired.

Jaxin decided to paint a Seahawk on Anders. She nailed it.

 Goofy girl.

Crazy kiddos.

happy monday!

Happy Monday everyone!
Hope your Mother's Day weekend was so fantastic that it resulted in headstands in your neighborhood park. And even if there wasn't headstands, I hope there was cake. We had both.

100 happy days

A few of my co-workers and I decided to play a game where we take 1 picture every day of something that makes us happy. We then post our pictures to Yammer (our work's social networking site). For the record, we didn't come up with this game. It's something that is going around the internet, but we decided to play along too. I am always looking for reasons to take pictures and stopping to appreciate things that make me happy each day can't hurt either. So far I'm only on day 20, but I haven't missed a picture yet. Here are a few of my happy pictures.

Eating local and sustainable/running is so much more fun with my colorful shoes

Splurging on $10 dahlias for my garden/olive oil from our adopted olive tree in Italy

men at work

Hi everyone! Meet Mark.

Mark is my co-worker, and he also happens to be a brilliant photographer (check out his work here). He is working on a new project for Pike Place Fish, which resulted in a early morning photoshoot while the guys set up for the day.

Mark told me I could tag along since I'm always trying to learn new photography tips and tricks, and he said he could give me a few pointers. It was a lot of fun to shoot around with someone whose work I really admire.

Here are a few of my favorite shots that I captured, and while I still have so much to learn about this crazy photography hobby, I do feel like I'm getting better at trying new things. It's a start.

Stay tuned to hear about the cool product the boys will be launching soon!
