Anders and I went on an adventure to Volunteer Park last Sunday. It was the first time either of us had been there, and I have to say it's definitely one of my favorite parks. We caught views of downtown from the lookout tower, took pictures next to the "donut" (that maybe inspired Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun? Possibly?) and took in all the pretty flowers and plants in the conservatory.
Oh my gosh...those hydrangeas in the conservatory are beautiful!! And I've been wanted a succulent for a pot I have, so if you could go back and pick me one of those and ship it home...that would be great! :-)
