Okay okay. I know it's the new year, and we should all be detoxing from the holidays, but Anders and I couldn't resist trying out the latest New York food craze...the ramen burger! I mean, just look at this thing! It was amazing. Please stop what you are doing and make this now.
You can find tons of instructions online (like here) or videos at You Tube (here), but it is super easy. Here are the directions in a nutshell:
Step 1: Cook your package of ramen
Step 2: Drain and mix in 1 egg
Step 3. Split the noodles into two, and form two patties (we used a large ramekin to shape it, but anything "bun" shaped will work. Make sure to put plastic wrap underneath to get it out)
Step 4. Weight it down (we used a smaller ramekin)
Step 5: Put in the fridge for 15 minutes
Step 6: Remove from fridge and fry it in a skillet
Step 7: Die of deliciousness
Bonus tip: use the ramen noodle flavor package to season your burger!
